This guy is the worst. He is actively going against my treatment team’s recommendations, making my life harder - due to a doctor’s rec from 3 years ago… just because he “knows” the doctor. Wish he would listen to current treatment recommendation from hospital. During our very first meeting, he called me a “highly manipulative individual” and said “I don’t trust anyone but me to be your therapist.” Since hearing feedback from my treatment team and family, he is no longer my therapist, and was asked to readjust in his approach. Still, weeks later, he’s making it impossible to find a new therapist. Setting up meeting times weeks down the road, only to say during those meetings he needs papers signed, so he can’t actually talk during that meeting. Unbelievably poor base of trust, wish I could stay with my inpatient team. DMH PACT is the worst.
