I am Maria Soledad Ramirez and I had back surgery on Dec 31, 2024.For almost a year I had excruciating pain that went down through my hip into my left leg, and I attended regular appointments with Dr. Tyler Waldron and Dr. Burdy. We tried everything possible (physical therapy, acupuncture, cortisone injections, and constant intake of pain killers and anti-inflammatories) before reaching the conclusion that the last option was to proceed with the surgery, as he had explained to me that the process was long and complicated. The pain was making my life so miserable. I was terrified, but after the surgery the discomfort and pain from the surgery dissipated rapidly, and the pain in my leg was completely gone!!! Pre-op, Dr. Waldron explained exactly what the procedure was going to be, and what to expect, and this was very helpful to set my mind in the right place.Dr. Burdy’s team was excellent. I’m almost back to normal and will always be very grateful to the Doctors and their team.
