Wendy Baker, LMFT

Wendy doesn’t appear to really listen to clients. In my case, I’ve laid out my experience and concerns clearly, time and time again. She still doesn’t address these concerns, and appears to have little knowledge of the actual role of somatics in psychotherapy or the pedagogy underlying it. She is dismissive, and offers no insights, yet tries to make assumptions and diagnosis that are based on stereotypes and which are patently false. She also often makes scheduling errors which indicate nothing is written down, or remembered correct, even if was just scheduled days prior in an email. I noticed she has mixed up the appointment schedules of other clients too. Is it forgetfulness? ADD? She shows no emotion or animation whatsoever in session and basically just sits there, at times adding comments which show a lack comprehension, empathy and integrity. I would not recommend.
