Horrible experience. Very rude and dismissive. Ignores children being harmed in favor of the bad parent. Children aren't safe with his advice. He does not help. Accepted lies from a harmful parent due to personal bias. Ignores the other parents' concerns. If you are assigned to him or any of his mediators be prepared for a fight for survival.

“Dr” lang was incredibly combative, threatening, loud, and provided poor service. He is the only stanislaus county court co-parenting counselor, and he really enjoyed holding that over our head. Beware!! A therapy session should be inviting, warm, and you should feel safe and free to speak. Weston attempted to use his size to impose himself on us and we left feeling more scared than anything!

Dr. Lange is supposed to be a court appointed co-parent counselor. He completely disregards the fact that a parent continues to be toxic, the issue and allows them to steam role a session where it is not their time or turn to talk. Dr. Lange refuses to acknowledge the continued areas of concern for non conflict parent while allowing the high conflict parent to essentially always have the floor. Dr. Lange does not let the non-conflict partner speak, have their turn of the session, present evidence to show that despite all the sessions, work and whatnot, the conflict person is not getting better, still the reason for the problems and forces the non-conflict parent to keep engaging with a high conflict, vindictive and manipulative other parent who needs solo counseling, not co-parent counseling. I would never recommend Dr. Lange to anyone who is needing coparent counseling. If you are not the high conflict parent, dont expect this Dr. to listen to anything you have to say and actually address the issue which is, there is one parent who is the issue and despite session after session of non-conflict parent trying to show that there is no improvement and despite them following the course guides, the high conflict parent continues to not do so.
