He was late, rushed, and didn't listen. In the face of a difficult diagnosis, he resorted to gaslighting. He told me I was experiencing a "phantom pain," and that I "just need an antidepressant." He even recommended against further testing. I got the testing anyway. Turns out that what I needed was extensive physical therapy and traction. Talking to this man was deeply demoralizing, and delayed already slow progress toward getting the right care.
