I was referred to Dr. Husen 7/2025 by my PCP, wondering why I'd had 3 episodes of sinusitis in the prior 1.5 years. Dr. Husen found no evidence of sinusitis then, at a time following antibiotic Rx. I saw him again 11/2025 with fever, frontal sinus pain, and sinus drainage. He suggested nasal endoscopy, but since published 2025 ENT guidelines indicated a diagnosis of sinusitis, I asked for antibiotic therapy. He was firm saying the evidence didn't point to sinusitis, and we compromised on getting a CT. It showed severe right maxillary sinusitis, for which he prescribed antibiotics.I found Dr. Husen to be rather stubborn, and alarmingly, not following ENT guidelines from 2025.
