Dr. Makhoul is clearly smart but has absolutely zero bedside manner and does not actually listen to what her patients are saying. She cut me off multiple times while I was trying to answer her questions with an attitude of knowing everything already. I then had to wait until she was doing talking to correct her multiple mistaken assumptions. Her back-office is a mess, very slow and incomplete responses. It has been months and they have not responded to requests and questions I have sent multiple times, including calling to ask directly. Unfortunate because she seems like she is knowledgeable but I would rather take slightly longer waits for a doctor who cares to actually understand a patient's situation before jumping to conclusions, putting in for unnecessary labs, and over prescribing medicine.
