I broke my right wrist in a fall from six feet. The ER I went to offered no suggestions as to whom I should contact. The surgeon I contacted was on vacation, the second surgeon felt my break was too severe for him to tackle (he is not a hand specialist) but he did refer me to Dr Daniel Lygrisse. He informed me that he could not indicate the quality of the surgeon because he was relatively new to the area. I was in pain, so I contacted Lygrisse. From the moment I met him I was put at ease because he explained the break, the severity of the break and what he would do to fix the problem. He told me in terms I could understand and I felt very comfortable with him. When it came time for surgery, he got me in quickly (I met him two days after the accident and I was in surgery the following day). Following the surgery Lygrisse explained my limits for the time being as well as what could be expected of me. Informative and always comprehensive in a manner I completely understood, I was
