I went to my consult with great hope Dr Thut could help me. I don’t think he realizes the patient can hear EVERYTHING that’s said outside of the patient room, through the door. When the nurse told him she was checking to see if Shields sent the MRI, he responds “I’m going to pretend to know what you’re talking about.” Then tells me he wouldn’t touch my knee and that he’s surprised it’s not worse than it already is, letting me to believe the pain I’m already in that affects my daily living at age 44 is only going to keep getting worse. I could have swallowed that if he didn’t leave the room announcing “well that was fast!” to his coworkers after delivering terrible news to me. Seriously?!! I have EDS with chronic patella dislocations. While the lateral release surgery helped, I now have less mobility, so much more pain with no doctors willing to help. Then I get this “Wish version” of a MA Gen doc who treats me like the easiest patient of the day because he didn’t need to waste his time
