Patient Reviews

If there was negative syar ratings, that would be the true measure if his performance. My wife broke her leg in multiple places and felt severe knee pain and destabilization. His first time meeting my wife he was more concerned about the ER ordering a CT scan without consulting him, calling it overkill. He put her in a brace and said see you in 4 weeks. 4 weeks later she returns for the 2nd visit. She's in severe pain still. He tells her to lose the crutches and start putting weight on the leg. I asked him about checking her knee for ligament damage. His reply was "she'll hate me if I do". I said what about an MRI?. He says it will be inconclusive. I then asked why football players are getting MRI's within days of their injuries, and correct findings are made by the doctors?. He said it's because they're football players, not a regular citizen like my wife. He admitted she may have ligament tears but still refused to check. How can you tell someone to get off crutches and walk around on still healing bones and ligaments in an unknown condition? Unbelievable to me. We go to the University of Washington Sports med clinic and she was diagnosed with a ruptured ACL, partially torm MCL, 4 bone breaks etc...was in an MRI machine in an hour and then scheduled for surgery! Dr. Lu had a blatant disregard for the health and well-being of my wife. He risked worsening her injuries and made her suffer for weeks she didn't have too. This guy was more concerned about the ER doing tests he didn't order instead of my wife's health. He hasn't hear the last from us, neither has the medical board. Don't see this guy unless you want to risk getting misdiagnosed and blown off.
