I had never met this new Doctor that was assigned to me after seeing Dr Cherala left the office .I did meet with Irena Shubuv. I found her to be pleasant, professional, understanding and attentive. She scheduled me with injection with Dr. Rajashekar. I had not me this Dr. till the day of my injection. I entered the procedure room with two males the Doctor and a technician not knowing who was who as they said nothing to me and guided me to the table. I spoke telling them I was in a lot of pain this day, waiting for an acknowledgment from Dr. Rajashekar. I received none. He did tell me everything he was doing as he medically preformed the procedure but laying on my stomach for the procedure, I still was not aware who was the Doctor. After the procedure I was in tears and visibly in pain and uncomfortable as I experienced a calf muscle spasm trying to get up. The both of them did try and assist me but were not listening to me and it was made more uncomfortable because if the stiffness do to the spasms. The Doctor and the technician still at this time all of said maybe three words as I exited the room. I was directed to the exit, gave my name to a third male who said three words to me, still visibly upset. Now checked out I exited . I have never in my life experienced this kind of treatment. Although my pain has dissipated and I’m comfortable in my home, I remain unsettled with the lack of care from this Doctor, his complete lack of compassion and or professionalism.

I suffered a fall in April that resulted in a fractured vertebrae, and ongoing severe pain in my lower back. After trying unsuccessfully to be seen at two previous pain clinics, I was referred to Dr Rajashaker. I couldn't be happier. Their practice called me one day after the referral, and although my "new patient" consult wasn't until the day after, I was scheduled for a pain management injection the day prior. The whole staff was lovely, and Dr R was so welcoming. I felt completely at ease, and the day of my consult, Dr R took his time speaking with me. I did not feel rushed, as he took his time explaining my treatment plan. I feel so lucky to have found Dr R, and feel confident that he will take very good care of me and address my pain issues. I highly recommend him. THANK YOU Dr Shaker!!!

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
