The receptionist on duty at 8 am on 6 19 25 was verbally dismissive when I said that I had contacted the doctor’s office on 6 13 with patient records. This person initially said that the email was never checked although I had communicated with the office via this email several times in the past. Throughout our discussion, this person’s manner of communication was quite aggressive and controlling, interrupting me frequently particularly when I was trying to clarify a point. This person never acknowledged any of my concerns, nor did they reflect at all on their own behavior. In summary, this person never showed any compassion or understanding of the patient or family’s perspective, nor indicated verbally that she cared about what the patient and or family was going through. This person said that we were rude and that the doctor was discharging my husband although the doctor never talked with us. Because of this lack of attention to the patient, I would not recommend him to anyone.
