I brought my daughter to Dr Hashem 3 years ago. He came highly recommended by family friends. He ran a series of tests ending with a colonoscopy. My daughter came out of the colonoscopy crying and extremely uncomfortable. He said there was absolutely no reason why she should be in pain and we’ve run all the tests we could. Basically telling me that maybe she’s not really in pain and she’s just making it up. Well, we just found a wonderful and caring new GI that just diagnosis her with SIBO and IMO. She has had this for quite a few years. And maybe these conditions would have caused her discomfort from the colonoscopy and not making up the pain she felt!! Maybe Dr Hashem should have referred us to a more knowledgeable GI doctor instead!!
