I would not recommend this surgeon for any type of procedure. I had an emergency laparoscopic cholecystectomy done and have not heard from this doctor at all. I was admitted for 2 days after my surgery, where he did not come to visit me post-operatively. I was discharged without being cleared by him or anyone on a surgical team in person. Since discharge, I have been experiencing fever, chills, and excruciating pain, with 2 subsequent ER visits. When contacted by the ER, he reported he was unavailable and there was no need for any work up for me and I was to be discharged. After losing consciousness at home and another ER visit, he still refused to contact me and had his medical assistant relay the message to “take acetaminophen.” As an ER nurse with experience on the backend and now as a patient, I would not recommend this surgeon to anyone.
