Last week, my blood pressure (BP) suddenly spiked to emergency levels. I called 911 and spent the next 3 nights in the hospital. My hospital stay was frustrating and stressful. As the hospital tried to determine the cause of my sudden BP spike and get my BP stabilized, I had contact with several doctors including cardiologists, kidney specialists and others. Most of the doctors did not take the time to really talk to me, listen to my concerns, and give me an overall opinion on test results and events that occurred prior to, and during my stay. On the day I was to be discharged (still exhibiting unstable BP and other physical symptoms), Dr. Robey came to speak with me. She was incredible! She took the time to listen to my concerns and gave me a comprehensive assessment of my test results and other observations by staff. It was exactly what I needed. She then went above my expectations and sent a message to my cardiologist who she knew with her assessment of my situation. Outstanding!
