Had 2 crowns done & charged $1500 for EACH one. Talking to friends & family what they were charged for the same crown work, found out they paid $900- 1000.The worst part is the second crown wasn't fitted properly & I had discomfort every time I ate something. Went back, the Dr. said everything looked fine & wait a couple weeks. The pain never went away & after about 6 months while eating dinner the crown actually popped off. Luckily, I did not swallow it.I had left that Dr. before the crown came off & decided to look for a new dentist, but put it off. When the crown popped off, I went to an office close by to get it fixed.My new dentist looked at the crown & noticed a high spot on the one of the corners. He said that was likely the reason I was feeling discomfort when eating because of the pressure put on that corner. It was also the reason the crown popped off, which made total sense. When he fixed that high spot, no more discomfort.Would NOT recommend Dr. Karpinsky!
