Dr. Watkin’s is the absolute most unethical Dr I have ever been to and had surgery with. One reason why I chose him was because he was in my network wit BCBS. I had the highest payment monthly because I knew I was going to have surgery and wanted the lowest out of pocket co-pay. I had the surgery January 7th 2022 and he performed it at Harvard Medical which he owns at least a portion of and is in the same building as his office, which he owned in 2007. Well I now have a bill of almost $10,000 because his surgery center was not In Network which they did not tell me and I would have Never agreed to. In fact after speaking to Blue Cross today I found out that they just became in network March 1st 2023. This Dr in my experience seems to only care about his bottom line and not about the patient. There are too many good ethical Dr’s out there and sadly I chose the wrong one!! I hope this helps someone with their future decisions.
