I will not question any positive reviews of Nathan Shishido; however, I will provide an awful experience with him following a fractured ankle injury I sustained during the arrest of a combative male subject. As a result, I was appointed to Shishido for the treatment of the fracture. It was immediately evident Shishido had some bias connected to me being a peace officer, and he was deliberately rude and demeaning. Shishido became so verbally abusive on the second visit, that my wife insisted we leave immediately. We did so. I was assigned another orthopedic doctor, who very satisfactorily treated my injury. I’d give him less than “1” if it were possible. Circa 1998.
