I had visited several specialists, in search of answers for an invasive, disfiguring, MRSA infection that I feared was spreading. I was very anxious about visiting another doctor who wouldn't/couldn't help. Dr. Puri was the first, and only doctor (of four visited) to readily inspect my Emergency Room MRI scans before I begged; and even *before* my appointment! Best of all, he was knowledgeable enough to provide insight and assurances. He treated me with kindness, and described my illness and the state of it, in an informed, rational, patient manner. Although, he referred me to a dermatologist, he was also the first doctor (since the ER) to show empathy and prescribe another, intermittent antibiotic to help me battle the resistant infection. Since I was rapidly losing the will to keep fighting the MRSA, or endure any more failed doctor visits, he just may have saved my life. At the very least, he renewed my faith in our medical community and helped me mend. Thank you, Dr. Puri.
