Patient Reviews
Mar 06, 2025
I am the deeply concerned mother. Today, my son suffered a terrifying febrile seizure. Amid this distressing moment, his grandmother rushed him to the Montefiore Medical Group in Riverdale for help. There, his doctod assessed him and, out of an abundance of caution, referred him to Dr. Susan E. Duberstein at 3415 Bainbridge. However, what happened next was beyond comprehension. Dr. Duberstein, without any semblance of compassion or professionalism, outright refused to see my son. Not only did she fail to examine him, but she also stormed out of the office in an alarmingly rude manner. She demanded that we leave the hospital immediately, showing no interest in hearing anything we had to say. Her behavior was appalling — she repeatedly interrupted me, refused to let me explain the reason for our visit, and even made cruel remarks about the referral itself. She declared, with utter disregard for our distress, that she could not undstand why my son was sent to her. We were left shocked.
