I went to see him as an first-time patient. The primary reason for my visit was foot callouses. He spent less than five minutes with me - whipped out a scraper and shaved one callous. I had to request he do one more; although it was clearly visible and should have been obvious to him that it was causing me pain. He billed Medicare $265.00. Cost me nothing directly, but costs all Medicare clients ultimately in higher premiums. I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT AS A NEW PATIENT HE WOULD HAVE EXAMINED MY FEET! HE DIDN'T. I told him that I had foot cramps in one foot, and he told me to make another appointment! This, after spending only a few minutes for which Medicare was billed for a "New patient visit, total time 30-44 minutes." Yes, I realize he had to make a file for me and write notes, but since he did close to nothing, that note-writing couldn't have taken very long either. I was not impressed.
