I wish I could give a good review for this Dr but he has made a terrible mistake for me as a patient. 3 years ago he did gastrocnemius recession on both my legs. He was successful on the right but for 3 years my left leg got smaller and weaker and developed debilitating pain. My new podiatrist and I learned he had severed my Achilles tendon along with part of my soleus muscle in my left leg which left it severely elongated. Dr Seelman told me that he couldn’t promise to make it better but different I respected and knew that even if he did it right there was no guarantee. How ever my new Dr and I feels it was careless on his part releasing so low on my leg. I think he should know that I am sitting at 3 weeks of recovery from revision surgery to repair the damage his mistake caused. I am not writing this to shame Dr Seelman. I just want him to be aware of this flaw so that he can grow to be a better doctor and so that he doesn’t make the same mistakes on other patients. I wish him well.
