Jyotsna Sharan, MA

My husband and I worked with Jyotsna for several months during a particularly difficult time in our marriage. While she was extremely insightful in certain ways, friendly, and personable, we both felt that she exercised a lack of professional ethics (such as letting us believe that she was choosing sides or sharing details from individual sessions) that were troubling and eventually led us to cut ties. It felt like she came into every session without reviewing notes or having even thought about the process of therapy – the sessions had a tendency to freewheel or spin out with no real objective or idea of what was going to come out of her mouth next. I would not recommend Jyotsna as a therapist and am leaving this review with the hope that she does not cause more harm to others.
